Normal Day 3

Normal Day 3 (157.8ish...23.8 lbs to go)
15th August

So last night/this morning we broke our fast at about 12 am maybe 1am, because that's when we stopped eating the previous day. Is this cheating? I'm not sure...

We had a little ice cream and cake, cos we couldn't help it. Then I had a potato and aubergine dish with peas and rice, not very much mind you, I shared a pack of crisps with the man, and a piece of baguette (a tiny slice) with a bit of cheddar on it. I felt much better after that, as the G&T I had was not a single as I'd thought but a triple, and it hit me hard. Also fasting during TTOTM is difficult for girls, i think anyway.

So this morning I was tired and in a rush so I forgot to weigh...although I've heard you shouldn't weigh yourself everyday anyway as things fluctuate, so mayb I'll do it next Tuesday. Last night I weighed myself and the scale said 157.8 lbs and the man was 166.6 lbs not that he needs to lose weight at all.

So I'd love to drop 20lbs...I'm pretty determined, although I want to keep it off, and this is why I refuse to feel guilty about eating 'naughty' foods, because I won't be able to keep up eating 'good' foods only forever.

Anyway I haven't has any food yet, just coffee, (2 sugars cos I'm tired...yeiks!) and I'm looking forward to lunch I've gotta say.

I feel like so far on fasting days I'm looking forward to eating days, and on eating days I end up looking forward to fasting days though...maybe I should relax and enjoy the moment.

I heard a cool mantra on another blog which I've though of in the past "Time will pass regardless" so I'll sit tight and stay on track!

Had lunch, a delicious homemade (by moi) cheese and tomato omelet and beans with a little coleslaw. My sister also made me a hot chocolate (mainly with water, splash of milk) with cream on top >.< I know, I know...no bread though, which is usually my downfall, so that's a plus, right?
And I also snuck three mini donuts...they were worth it!
Now back to work...it's tipping it down, really fancied a run after work, but like, I mean it's raining like never before...so maybe not. I might do some yoga though, a half hour or so.
 And I cannot resist the biccies...dark chocolate...mmmmm....



-----------update 2------------
 So I went for a lovely 20 min run, did a mile and a half with my housemate, ran through the local park, it was quite sunny. I didn't do yoga after that as there was no time, but maybe tomorrow.
I had to head right out after my run and shower for my boyfriends gig.

Lunch
Omelet - cheese and tomato, with beans and coleslaw
Couple of mini donuts
Hot Chocolate
Coffees
Water

A bottle of beer
Two rum and cokes (not that bad I think)

Dinner (after gig)
Half a pizza with cheese, olives, tomato, mushrooms and sweetcorn
Shared cookie and cream ice cream.

  1. BTW...Alcohol on no food is definitely a BAD idea...I was ctaually rather drunk until I broke fast last night. I'm not hungover per say, but waking for work was really hard this morning...
